Piotr Kucharski

Piotr Kucharski is the experienced executive, with over 20 years of experience in managing large IT/PMO and back office operations teams in financial institutions in Poland.
He started his professional career in Bank Handlowy as project manager, where finally as a core management team member launched handlobank (one of the first modern and electronic retail banks in Poland), leading the back office operations and IT functions. Next worked in Aviva in Poland, where as CIO consolidated all IT teams into one multi-functional team for all insurance business lines. Since 2012 in AXA in Poland, initially managing IT/PMO teams for the direct motor business, while recently co-managing newly acquired (BREU and Liberty) P&C businesses integration within the entire AXA P&C business landscape in Poland. Currently runs in Poland the IT Software Development Center for AXA Direct France and AXA UK Insurance business.
Piotr Kucharski graduated Physics at Warsaw University, specializing in gravitation. He likes spending time actively on trekking but as well he is fond of music, marine military history and movies.
